I recommend you begin a journaling practice, like Julia Cameron’s “morning pages” she outlines in her book The Artist’s Way: writing 3 pages of stream-of-consciousness, first thing in the morning as possible (before your brain wakes up and begins editing what you say.)
If it’s hard to journal first thing in the morning, or if you don’t have time, I’ve created a daily “check-in” post to briefly summarize your day. You can select another journaling prompt when you have more time, or more emotional stamina to work on the topic.
Throughout the time I spent grieving, I collected hundreds of resources that nurtured, soothed, inspired, and comforted me. I read philosophy, escaped in novels, and learned about various healing techniques and practices that helped me find my way back to myself.
I want to share those resources with you, so you may find comfort in them as well.
