The Feeling Your Whole Heart Grief Journal is a free collection of 55 journaling prompts that help you to uncover and process different emotions, changing relationships, and your evolving personal beliefs at your own pace.

I recommend you begin a journaling practice, like Julia Cameron’s “morning pages” she outlines in her book The Artist’s Way: writing 3 pages of stream-of-consciousness, first thing in the morning as possible (before your brain wakes up and begins editing what you say.)

If it’s hard to journal first thing in the morning, or if you don’t have time, I’ve created a daily “check-in” post to briefly summarize your day. You can select another journaling prompt when you have more time, or more emotional stamina to work on the topic.

I’ve created a 14-minute guided Body Scan meditation that you can listen to when you need to breathe, check in with your body, and notice where you’re feeling and holding any tension or grief. The meditation guides you to get in touch with each part of your body, focus on your breathing, and forgive the areas where you are holding stress and tension due to your loss.

Throughout the time I spent grieving, I collected hundreds of resources that nurtured, soothed, inspired, and comforted me. I read philosophy, escaped in novels, and learned about various healing techniques and practices that helped me find my way back to myself.

I want to share those resources with you, so you may find comfort in them as well.

Compassion Garden is my free Facebook group, where I share healing techniques and resources live, and where you can share about your loss and your grief journey in a safe space.
